I Am Poem

I am fun to hang out with.
I wonder how one little seed turns into something big.
I hear bees buzzing about.
I see billions of ants crawling side by side.
I want this world made out of ice cream.
I am fun to hang out with.

I pretend to be sad so my brother can give me what I want.
I feel everything floating in the air.
I touch what will happen in the future.
I worry what will happen when my parents are gone.
I cry when I do something wrong.
I am fun to hang out with.

I understand why I’m not allowed everything.
I say my manners nearly every time.
I dream to sing.
I try my best to look after my family.
I hope I get a better report this year.
I am fun to hang out with.

  1. Hi Davinia,

I like your poem, but I don't think I would like the world to be made of icecream; it would be too cold and too sticky!

I really like your images about bees and ants.
